Romanian Monthly Kukai November 2015

Theme: the participants had to send a haiku poem having to do with
choosing of the sheep.*

 *The photograph belongs to  Auraş Mihaiu, from Nehoiu, Buzău, who won the Romania National Award, within this year’s contest Sony World Photography Awards 2015. He captured the moment at a sheepfold when shepherds prepare the sheep for wintering.

The emptiness of autumn would be incomplete without this latest depletion: the weather, rough as it is anyway, discards all events. Thus everything, past, present and future, disappears into the mist which annihilates any horizon and any path. The fog swallows all surroundings and leaves you shivering wrapped in it.
